Inside a DQEC channel: expression, influence, and behavior

A DQEC channel separates three conceptual jobs: expression, admitted influence, and phase-level behavior.

The channel

A phase channel brings together direct expression, admitted underlying influence, and behavior within the phase. These are conceptual roles inside one DQEC architecture, not three separate machines.

Direct phase expression — what is expressed

Direct phase expression represents the phase-compatible aspects of the full underlying configuration as an expressed phase state. That state includes the geometry, fields, objects, and observers representable in the phase.

Admitted underlying influence — what can influence without appearing as an object

Admitted underlying influence determines which shared underlying interactions can affect this phase even when their source aspects are not represented here as objects. Another phase’s existence alone is insufficient: a shared interaction must be permitted by this channel.

Behavior within the phase — how the phase behaves

Behavior within the phase describes phase-level evolution of the expressed fields and objects, including admitted influence. In our channel that behavior includes quantum interference and stable classical records.

Three roles, one channel

A phase channel brings together three coordinated roles. Direct phase expression accounts for what is represented here. Admitted underlying influence accounts for permitted effects from aspects not represented here as objects. Behavior within the phase describes how the expressed fields and objects behave, including those effects. These are roles of one channel, not three machines a thing travels through in sequence.

Read the roles as questions

Ask 'What shows up?' for direct phase expression, 'What else can matter here?' for admitted underlying influence, and 'How does the expressed phase behave?' for behavior within the phase. These describe how underlying reality is expressed and how admitted influence participates. The blueprint does not identify the underlying configuration with a quantum state or specify the intrinsic compatibility rule.

Work one case through all three roles

Imagine a continuing history with one aspect represented as an object here and another aspect absent as an object but participating in a shared interaction. Direct phase expression accounts for the represented state. The influence role determines whether the shared interaction can affect this phase. The behavior role describes the resulting field and object behavior. All three describe the same underlying activity; none adds an independent ruleset after projection.

Concept picture
One phase channelThree coordinated roles
Direct phase expressionWhat the phase expresses
Admitted underlying influenceWhat admitted influence it receives
Behavior within the phaseHow its fields behave

Direct phase expression, admitted underlying influence, and behavior within the phase are parts of one channel, not a pipeline.

Takeaway: Direct phase expression answers “What shows up here?” Admitted underlying influence answers “Which effects can reach this phase without their source appearing here as an object?” Behavior within the phase answers “How do the expressed fields and objects behave?”

Check your understanding

Which channel component answers “what is expressed?”

  1. Direct phase expression
  2. Admitted underlying influence
  3. Behavior within the phase
  4. Accumulated history
Answer and explanation

Direct phase expression

Direct phase expression is the projection/expression role.

Which component handles permitted influence from something not directly expressed as an object in the phase?

  1. Direct phase expression
  2. Admitted underlying influence
  3. Behavior within the phase
  4. A universal premetric clock
Answer and explanation

Admitted underlying influence

This role admits permitted effects from a shared underlying interaction even when the source aspect is not directly represented here as an object.

A source has no ordinary object-expression here but changes our fields through an admitted trace. Which role handles its admission?

  1. Direct phase expression alone
  2. Admitted underlying influence
  3. An external clock
  4. Observer consciousness
Answer and explanation

Admitted underlying influence

The source is absent as an object in this phase, so direct object-expression is not the explanation. The admitted-influence role concerns whether its shared underlying interaction can nevertheless affect the phase.

Explain it back

Explain direct phase expression, admitted underlying influence, and behavior within the phase using three different verbs.

Compare with a sample response

Expression represents compatible aspects. Admission permits shared underlying interactions to affect the phase. Behavior describes the expressed fields and objects, including those effects. These are coordinated roles within one channel and one underlying ruleset.
